It is reported that the titanium dioxide production line of 100,000 tons of titanium dioxide produced by TNI’s titanium plant in Eastern China is accelerating its construction. The project was formally started construction in June 2015, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, which was completed in two phases. The first phase is expected to test successfully and stabilize production in 2018. This device is also the only sulfuric acid plant currently under construction.
CNNC Titanium Dioxide currently has a production capacity of 220,000 tons, and has three production bases in Gansu, Jiangsu, and Anhui. In September 2014, CNI Titanium Dioxide acquired a 100% stake in Gansu Dongfang at a price of RMB 62 million.
Gansu Dongfang Titanium is located in Baiyin City, Gansu Province. The industrial sulfuric acid supply in the Baiyin area is sufficient. Compared with other titanium dioxide production companies in the company, such as Maanshan in Anhui and Jiayuguan in Gansu, the price of industrial sulfuric acid in the silver area is relatively low.
At the same time, other chemical raw and auxiliary materials required for the production of titanium dioxide in the silver area are fully furnished and the necessary energy for production is fully furnished. Therefore, the establishment of titanium dioxide production enterprises in the silver area will help reduce the overall cost of titanium dioxide production and improve the company's profitability.
